His only fault is that under saddle he can sometimes be a little bit stubborn when in a dressage arena and saddle. In western attire he is more willing. He will walk, trot and canter on a loose rein, has good leg yields and can stop quickly. Listens very well to voice commands. I have lunged him over 75cm jumps and he has lovely scope. He has never raced, lovely paces and he loves to stick his head under your arm at the end of the day and get the cuddles he wants. Ideal for the beginner but he would also respond to a novice rider with prompting, so a great all rounder and he pretty much ticks all the boxes. Maverick has not been seriously worked since Oct and I have been throwing prospective buyers on his back and he has not put a foot wrong. He's approx 14.2 hands, 12 years old of unknown breed with no vices. He has a lovely nature and has been more of a big dog than a horse to me. I have had him since he was 18 months old and would have trouble selling him hence the decision to free lease for as long as someone would have him. He was a rescue case through my local vet in country Victoria where I lived at the time. At the moment though, he is loafing around in his paddock not doing much at all which is a great shame as he is a lovely little horse. Working three days a week and with a three year old daughter, I just don’t have time to work three horses and Milo is the one who always misses out. I would love to see him out there doing something as he is a rather talented little jumper, loves going out for trail rides and has that something about him. He is a horse for a good confident rider only. He has only really been ridden once or twice a month of late so he is fizzy. Harmless, but fizzy. He will settle once back in a routine with regular work. He is extremely soft mouthed and light to ride as I ride using leg and seat. He has only ever been ridden in a simple or french snaffle. She is was bred by Hayes Park and I purchased her directly from them about 18 months ago. Sahra is 7yo, 15.3hh, and has the most beautiful nature. She has the very unique looks (see photo's) and turns heads all the time. Honest horse, never rears, would never bolt etc. Has been ridden by a nervous beginner for the last 18 months (me!) and has been an absolute delight to own. I have two kids and she is so brilliant with them - really trustworthy, and lets them brush her all over, cuddle her and is not one bit phased. However, she is green, and needs someone with time and experience to take her further. She needs to be educated and ridden out more, and I don't have the time or experience to do this. I have regular lessons with her, and have taken her to a five day clinic with Ross Jacobs which was fantastic and we made great progress. I am also doing a clinic with her in a couple of weeks, so she would be available after this clinic. I would be more than happy to have anyone come and meet her/ ride her in the meantime though.
