Paddock needs to be relatively flat, have good natural shelter from the sun and rain (if man-made isn't available), and if possible shared with one or more like-minded retirees, paddock ornaments or riding horses. He would be equally as happy in with cows. No facilities required, except a place to store some feed and hay (shared storage fine). Horse is however a stallion, don't let the word fool you, he's an old soul who's genuinely longing for some buddies to live out his days with. He's GREAT with fencing, doesn't have to be electric but please no barbed wire. Is usually the boss but never ever malicious or a bully in anyway. Good around food. Requires a daily feed (made up in advance by myself). Hay when ground feed isn't in abundance (also supplied by myself). Plus the odd rug on/off in that in-between weather. I will be visiting him a few times a week. Can supply multiple references to his unflappable character and temperament. He's a pleasure to handle and have around.
